Our Story
The Three Tuns has stood at the heart of Hay-on-Wye since the 18th century. Our historic building, with its exposed timber beams, stone walls, and welcoming fireplaces, tells a story of genuine Welsh hospitality that spans generations.
Carefully restored in 2007, we've preserved the authentic character that makes The Three Tuns special while creating a warm, inclusive space where everyone feels at home. From walkers fresh off Offa's Dyke to families celebrating Sunday lunch, locals meeting friends to visitors discovering Hay for the first time — all are welcome here.
